How our Costa Rican Coffee is Made

Growing

Everything begins in the rich volcanic soil of Costa Rica, where ideal elevation, abundant rainfall, and warm sunshine create the perfect environment for exceptional Arabica coffee. Our trees are carefully nurtured year-round, allowing every coffee cherry to mature naturally and develop its full flavor potential.

Hand Picking

Unlike mass-produced coffee, every cherry is hand-picked only when it reaches peak ripeness. This careful selection ensures only the highest-quality beans continue to the next stage, creating a smoother, richer, and more consistent cup of coffee.

Sun Drying

After harvesting, the coffee cherries are spread across drying beds under the Costa Rican sun. They are gently turned throughout the day to dry evenly while preserving their natural sweetness and complex flavor profile—a traditional method we’ve proudly maintained.

Sorting & Milling

Once properly dried, the beans are carefully sorted and milled to remove imperfections. Every batch is inspected to ensure only the finest coffee continues through our process, maintaining the consistency and quality we’re proud to share with every customer.

Roasting

Roasting is where each bean’s character truly comes to life. Every batch is roasted with precision to bring out its natural notes of chocolate, caramel, fruit, and subtle sweetness while preserving the unique qualities of our Costa Rican Arabica coffee.

Packaging

Immediately after roasting, our coffee is sealed in premium packaging designed to lock in freshness and aroma. This helps preserve the flavor and quality of every bean from our family farm until it reaches your home.
